International Mathematical Olympiad 1993 (Istanbul, Turkey) Scores

At the 1993 IMO held in Istanbul, Turkey, 413 contestants from 73 countries competed. 35 gold medals were awarded to those scoring at least 30; 66 silver medals were awarded to those scoring from 20 to 29; and 97 bronze medals were awarded to those scoring from 11 to 19.

The maximum individual score possible was 42 (which 2 contestants attained). The mean individual score was 12.591, with a standard deviation of 9.795. The following table shows how many contestants attained each possible score.
