International Mathematical Olympiad 2007 (Hanoi, Vietnam) Scores

At the 2007 IMO held in Hanoi, Vietnam, 520 contestants from 93 countries competed. 39 gold medals were awarded to those scoring at least 29; 83 silver medals were awarded to those scoring from 21 to 28; and 131 bronze medals were awarded to those scoring from 14 to 20.

The maximum individual score possible was 42 (which no‐one attained). The mean individual score was 13.937, with a standard deviation of 8.563. The following table shows how many contestants attained each possible score.
