International Mathematical Olympiad 2000 (Taejon, South Korea) Scores

At the 2000 IMO held in Taejon, South Korea, 461 contestants from 82 countries competed. 39 gold medals were awarded to those scoring at least 30; 71 silver medals were awarded to those scoring from 21 to 29; and 119 bronze medals were awarded to those scoring from 11 to 20.

The maximum individual score possible was 42 (which 4 contestants attained). The mean individual score was 13.384, with a standard deviation of 9.802. The following table shows how many contestants attained each possible score.
